Requirements

• Bachelor of Business, Accounting, Business Administration or equivalent (NQF Level 5 or higher)
• Self-motivated and dynamic with a passionate entrepreneurial spirit
• Strong customer service orientation with ability to identify and address customer financial needs
• Experience or strong aptitude in consultative selling and direct sales
• Proficiency in CRM systems and sales software for managing customer and pipeline data
• Excellent oral communication skills and ability to deliver compelling presentations
• Ability to identify sales opportunities and develop a personal network of business contacts
• Action-oriented with strong drive for results and personal accountability
• Ability to work independently on own leads while collaborating effectively with the broader team

Responsibilities

• Provide quality service to customers while identifying opportunities to secure new business or support retention, including processing cases and resolving complex customer problems
• Analyze specific problems and issues to find the best technical or professional solutions for customers
• Set clear objectives for each sales call or meeting; tailor presentations to decision-makers and influencers; ask relevant questions to evaluate customer interest and identify areas requiring further information
• Develop and implement a relationship management plan for potential customer accounts to build relationships with relevant decision-makers and enable effective two-way information flow
• Schedule follow-up actions and enter relevant information into the CRM system after each customer contact to ensure quality data for retention and business development activities
• Develop knowledge of the organization policies, procedures and relevant regulatory codes to ensure own work adheres to required standards
• Monitor and assess sales and market data for a specific geographic region to assist management in identifying areas where business can be developed
• Develop a personal network within the business sector and represent the organization at events to enhance visibility, reputation, and market intelligence
• Conduct research and select relevant information to analyze key themes and trends using primary data sources and business intelligence tools
• Work mainly on own leads to procure new business and expand sales of products and services with existing customers
