Requirements

• Relevant qualification in business, banking, or a related field
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in retail banking or financial services
• Proven ability to think creatively and deliver innovative solutions
• Experience managing and leading a team
• Strong customer service and relationship management skills

Responsibilities

• Take accountability for the sales and service process and ensure that sales targets and service standards are met
• Provide first line supervision to direct reports, caring for and growing team members
• Establish, align, and manage target and budget goals while ensuring effective cost control
• Deliver exceptional service that exceeds customer expectations through proactive and innovative solutions
• Manage existing clients and grow portfolio through contact-making and lead generation
• Manage the growth of active customer account base to increase client base for the branch
• Maximise business portfolio cross-sell opportunities and strengthen client relationships
• Track, control, and influence sales activities to achieve predetermined sales team targets
• Comply with governance in terms of legislative, process, operational risk, and audit requirements
