Requirements

• Must be a young person between 18-30 years and should have participated in Restless Development programs as a volunteer
• Ability to articulate in English and Krio
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Experience with event coordination and digital engagement tools
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multicultural environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with social media platforms
• Passion for youth empowerment and engagement

Responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating the activities of the Youth Advisory Board Members
• Facilitate communication and collaboration among Youth Advisory members
• Help organize and manage virtual and offline engagement activities
• Coordinate and schedule monthly online plenary meetings and in-person gatherings
• Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, minutes, and follow-up action items
• Support implementation and dissemination of the AU-EU Youth Voices Lab - Power of the Collective Action Plan
• Assist in generating evidence, implementing accountability mechanisms, and supporting youth-led advocacy
• Facilitate capacity-building activities for Youth Advisory Board Members
• Compile quarterly reports showcasing progress, impact, and shared stories
• Support Youth Advisory Board Members in preparing activity reports
• Serve as rapporteur during program team meetings and trainings
• Track float advances and liquidations by the Senior Program Coordinator
• Aid in planning and execution of online engagement via digital tools (project website, Youth Voices Lab App, social media, webinars)
• Assist in organizing youth action-led activities during continental influencing spaces including summits and conferences
